Add 3 to 5 drops of e-liquid directly onto the visible cotton of the new coil before installing. Fit the coil to your tank or pod, fill it, and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before firing. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a burnt taste on a brand-new coil.
Most OXVA coils last 1 to 2 weeks of regular use, depending on wattage and e-liquid choice. Sweet flavours (dessert, candy, fruit) tend to gunk coils faster than menthol or tobacco profiles.
Will these fit my tank? Compatibility is listed above. Coils within a family (Unicoil, Unipro, Xlim C) are interchangeable across compatible kits, but coils from different platforms are not cross-compatible.
My new coil tastes burnt straight away. What’s wrong? Almost always a priming issue. Add drops of e-liquid directly to the wicking material before firing, then let the assembled tank sit for at least 5 minutes.
